The one little letdown for me was breakfast, but I’m a picky eater, so that’s about my tastes rather than the food’s quality. Everything else was spot on. The room was clean, comfortable, and laid out well, with just the right amount of space. The staff were genuinely lovely and always ready to help. Even late at night, room service was impressively fast. I asked for towels and they arrived within minutes. I’d recommend the place and would happily stay again.

After I raised the room issue with reception, they offered us another room and breakfast for the rest of the stay. The breakfast turned out to be generous, with quality products. I’d paid for two comfort rooms of about 19 sq m each, without breakfast, but the rooms we got were no bigger than 14 sq m. Room 404 had just a small window in the door, and it couldn’t be opened even 3 cm. The rooms were clean, but the shower grout had black mold marks. You have to wear slippers to avoid getting fungus on your feet from the grout, and there weren’t any slippers provided.

The location made getting around easy, and the hotel is right in a great area for visitors, with good sights nearby and local Dutch food. We had a long overnight layover in AMS and went to the Pantry, even though we couldn’t spend much time enjoying the sights. At check-in we were welcomed with a complimentary glass of Prosecco and a handwritten note. They heard that we’d have to leave right when breakfast normally started, so they kindly opened half an hour early for us. The food was 10/10. Our cozy room had city maps and another gift waiting for us. Great service, and we plan to stay again.

The complimentary coffee and tea machine was available around the clock, which made the stay feel cozy and comfortable. We spent 10 nights here. The location and standard of the hotel were the best in this price range, and most of the staff were friendly. Rubben at reception was especially professional, polite, and friendly. From what I saw, he held the place together. I hope they give him a raise. The rooms are larger than usual for the city. Everything felt clean except for the rug, which I personally didn’t like because it seemed a bit dirty.
