We had to change rooms four times because of various issues, some technically outside the hotel's control. Barbizon Palace, especially Claire and Stan, handled it with impressive professionalism and personal care. Brian, the excellent Scottish concierge, even helped get into our suitcase after it was damaged on the flight, and was a top British guy all around. Everyone we met was wonderful, especially the bar staff. The occasional free drink had nothing to do with that, of course! Hic! Please stay here, it's fantastic, and we'll be back.

Jan made us feel at home throughout our stay at NH Collection Amsterdam Barbizon Palace. We saw him at breakfast, in the bar and around the hotel, and he always greeted us with a smile. He was friendly and professional, and we really appreciated him. The hotel itself is beautiful, very clean and in a great spot for exploring the city. We'd absolutely return and highly recommend it, especially Jan.

I haven't stayed at the hotel yet, but I'm eager to. I had to reschedule a booking because of a personal emergency, and manager Pim stepped in to help. The service and understanding he showed were outstanding, and I was so impressed. We'll definitely stay when we're next able to visit Amsterdam. Highly recommend!

The location is really convenient, right opposite a train station, and I'd absolutely stay here again. Jan was friendly when we chatted, and when we ran into problems, Raffaele helped us quickly. The staff were all warm and helpful, and breakfast was delicious each morning. From arrival, we were welcomed with genuine hospitality. My room was spacious, clean and had a lovely atmosphere. Everything exceeded my expectations.

The location is fantastic and the rooms are amazing, but the staff are what really made our recent stay. They couldn't have done more for me, my wife and our young baby, and went out of their way to help from the moment we arrived. When a small issue came up, they sorted it quickly and handled it with care and understanding. I can't recommend this hotel enough.
