We booked this room mainly because it had a washing machine, which seemed like a great amenity for the price. The room itself was pleasant and had nice amenities, but the machine didn’t work and we were told not to use it. There were no staff on site to ask about changing rooms, and Numa didn’t reply to our emails until we’d already left Amsterdam. When we asked about a partial refund, Numa kindly offered one along with a discount on a future stay, valid for one year. We accepted, only to discover they’d charged us the refund amount instead of refunding it. I’m incredibly annoyed by how inattentive the company seemed and by the lack of people available to help. Parking was another hurdle. We drove into Amsterdam and had requested a spot, but the nearby garage has only 20 spaces, and parking in the city is abysmal. We were lucky to come on a weekend. If we hadn’t, I’m sure we’d have paid hundreds for parking. I won’t stay at Numa hotels again, and I’d advise looking for a better alternative with someone actually at reception. This caused more headaches than any other hotel during my month in Europe. At least I got to see an Amsterdam laundromat while it was snowing, so thanks for that, I guess.

My boyfriend and I spent two nights at Numa Stay, and it would work well for a longer visit too. Check-in was quick and easy, the rooms were spotless, and the kitchen had everything we needed. It felt airy and comfortable, and it’s a 10-minute drive from the city center. We’d love to come back on our next trip 🥳

The beds were ridiculously comfortable, and the rain shower was a treat. Our loft-style room had loads of space and a kitchenette with everything we needed. It was really quiet, with a tram into the centre taking about 10 minutes, and free bikes too. The bar and gym are cool, and the staff were the friendliest. Already want to move in. Best modern stay in Amsterdam!

We loved the walk into town, it’s a beautiful route. The room was lovely and clean, with everything we needed, and the kitchen was easy to use. It’s a quiet spot and easy to find. The view was great too. Getting to Central Station takes about 20 minutes by bus or a 50-minute walk.

The surrounding area felt peaceful and very safe, even in the evenings, and we slept well in comfortable beds. Our room at numa Amsterdam Docklands was pleasant and had good equipment. The downside was how dirty it was right around the hotel. We tried to report it, but nothing came of our feedback, and during our stay there wasn’t a clear person or place to contact about it. Other than that, it’s a nice option if you want somewhere quiet in Amsterdam.
