Pulitzer Amsterdam

We’ve stayed at Pulitzer Amsterdam three times now, and every visit makes us like it more. It has a relaxed feel that makes you welcome as soon as you walk in. The place is elegant and modern, but still has plenty of character, with little details that give each corner its own charm. The staff are thoughtful, friendly and quick to help, while keeping things easy and natural. It feels luxurious without making you feel out of place or uncomfortable. That mix of atmosphere, design and service is hard to find, and it’s become part of the way we enjoy Amsterdam. We’re already looking forward to coming back. Thank you 🙏🏻 Family Stemann

Amsterdam’s bikes move fast and come at you from every direction, so keep an eye out. The hotel itself was really wonderful, right in the heart of the city with loads of things to see within walking distance. There’s a nice little bar just off the lobby, then a restaurant beyond it. The staff were excellent.

The location was great, and the decor in the shared spaces is gorgeous. My first room was also a good size and beautifully decorated, but it sat beside a service door that staff used a lot from early morning. Old room service dishes were left stacked outside too, which looked bad. The staff moved me when I asked, though the replacement was much smaller and nowhere near as nicely decorated. The hotel has quite a range of room sizes and styles, so it seems to come down to luck which one you get. The new room was quieter at first, then the radiator started making a dripping noise at night and kept me awake. The location made up for a lot, but I’m not sure the stay was worth the price. 3.5/5

The location was very convenient, and I had a truly great stay overall. Staff were kind, friendly and helpful throughout, and service was very quick. The room felt a little small for two people. During the last two days, there was sometimes an unpleasant smell from the bathroom, possibly a minor hotel issue. I’d still recommend the hotel.
