We loved wandering around Amsterdam on foot, and this was one of our favorite spots on a lovely morning. Magere Brug, the historic “Skinny Bridge,” is beautiful.

There's plenty to look at if you stroll around. The bridge itself is nice, with good canal views.

I've seen this beautiful bridge in the rain at night, in the morning, and during the day. Every time, it still impresses me.

Day or night, Magere Brug is beautiful and has that peaceful, romantic Amsterdam feel.

It’s a cute bridge and worth a look or a few pictures if you happen to be nearby. I wouldn’t make a special trip to this area just to see it, though.
