The Highland House

Adnan was incredibly welcoming and friendly, and went out of his way to help us with everything. Breakfast was delicious, with lots of options. The location is right in the middle of everything, close to attractions, shops, and transport. It was a wonderful experience, and I couldn’t have asked for more. Highly recommend, and we’ll definitely come back.

My family and I had never visited Amsterdam, and we had an amazing time. The location was perfect, easy to explore on foot, in a safe area, and really enjoyable. Adnan made the trip even better. He was great to talk to, helped us feel comfortable and get to know the area, and showed us several places he recommended near the hotel. He also gave us excellent ideas for activities in Amsterdam. He was fabulous, and I hope every guest gets to experience his kindness. All the staff were fabulous too. If I could give this place 10 stars, I would.

The Highland House felt welcoming and like home, thanks in large part to Adnan. He sat down with us, shared recommendations, and even showed us around town, helping us avoid tourist traps and figure out how to get around. He was a blessing and a great first friend to make here. All the staff were inviting and helpful, and the service was exceptional. The hotel was beautifully decorated and well located. Having the sister hotel, The Highlander, close by for drinks and snacks was a nice extra. Stay at the Highland House!

The breakfast was lovely, and getting to it was easy since the sister hotel is literally across the road. We packed a lot of sightseeing into our three nights, thanks in part to a location that made walking, trams, and the train station convenient. Our room, especially the wardrobe, was a hit with us. The staff were polite, helpful, and friendly. We’d love to come back and stay longer.
