Tulip Guesthouse

It's right in the center, yet the room was really quiet. The room is huge and has everything you might need, including a coffee machine, which I especially appreciated. David was probably the nicest, most accommodating host ever. Very clean, comfortable, and friendly. Just remember it's a traditional Dutch building, so the stairs are extreme, though that’s clearly mentioned. 11/10 🙂

I’d definitely recommend staying here and would come back. My room was spacious and comfortable, with lots of useful amenities, including a hair straightener since I’d forgotten mine. David was friendly and helpful, and the building is charming and in a great spot. It feels very Amsterdam, from the typical stairs to the decorations that made me feel like a local.

The room was impeccable, and the mid-1600s building is well maintained. Tulip of Amsterdam is also well placed for walking to museums, restaurants, cafes, and other key sights. David was professional and extremely helpful, offering to carry our suitcases up the narrow stairs. He also gave us detailed information about museums, restaurants, cafes, markets, and amenities. The service was exceptional, and I’d highly recommend staying here.

The location worked really well for us. We could walk to many places, including the Rijksmuseum, and it was still peaceful and quiet in the evenings. The room was clean and comfortable, with lovely attention to detail and a very cozy bed. Housekeeping kept everything spotless and was prompt and efficient. From check-in onward, the staff were warm and helpful, including with local recommendations. Tulip of Amsterdam exceeded my expectations, and I’d happily recommend it to anyone visiting Amsterdam.
