The staff were quick to answer questions, and breakfast was a good basic option. The rooms, toilets and showers were all in poor shape, though. They really need renovating.

You never thanked him for showing mercy that day. Then he called, saying he hadn’t heard you because he was in the captain’s whatever, I can’t remember exactly. You were hiding in the shed, boy. You probably stopped breathing when you heard I was inside. I’ll keep doing it until you find someone else, seriously. Free of charge. I just want Slovakia to make me coffee in the morning, and I need to personally whoop him out. Think it over. The offer stands, especially for the whooping. Call me as soon as he starts acting up. And Patty, if the boat is somehow yours, hehe.
I’ll leave you to guess which one is the green ball :D Don’t worry, only he’ll get a low review now so I can get his boat (: You get a pass, though. This is the first boat I saw Slovakia on, so it hurts my heart to bash it sometimes. But that’s life.
The views are lovely, and I thought the location and staff were absolutely lovely too. Breakfast was decent. Our room was small, but we made it work, and the bathroom was fine. There’s one charging socket in each room. You can hear the neighbors, though it didn’t bother us much. It was a fun chance to meet other travelers. I’d recommend it to a friend group looking for something different, and we’d come back.
The location was outstanding. Amsterdam Centraal is just a few minutes away on foot, and I had a very pleasant 40-minute walk to the Reijksmuseum. Breakfast was a highlight in the cozy dining room, with lovely views over the water and city. There was cold meat, cheese, bread, pancakes, cereal, tea, coffee, plus a microwave and toaster, and you could have as much as you liked. The two staff members I met were lovely, and I had a private single cabin with a wardrobe and wash basin. The toilet right beside my room was grubby, and on the first night I heard a man throwing up in there. A lot of guests ignored the request to keep things quiet and respectful. Early on my departure morning, while I was leaving my key in the dining room as requested, there were two men on the sofa who didn’t seem to be guests. There’s no door onto the boat and the room locks seemed very dodgy, so there really isn’t any security. Even so, as a woman traveling alone, I never felt vulnerable or unsafe.
