The room had a silverfish in it. They're harmless to people, but they might get into your luggage and come home with you, and then you'd have them in your house. There could be some in other rooms, too. Aside from that, it was clean, quiet, comfortable, and in a great location. Good value. Please hit helpful if appropriate.

I hurt myself just before the trip and needed a wheelchair and crutches. June was a superstar, really friendly and helpful, and the staff did a lot to accommodate me. The location was great, the beds were comfortable, and it was good value.

A bag of food and snacks was taken from our room during our stay, which was upsetting. When we reported it to reception, they said they'd spoken with the staff and that the staff denied taking it. That was the end of it. There was no investigation, responsibility, or effort to sort things out. We felt ignored and unsupported, and expected basic accountability and help from the hotel. The shower head in our room was broken, too. Reception said nothing could be done, with no attempt to fix it or offer a solution. The lack of care, responsibility, and basic service was deeply frustrating and disappointing. We expected a much higher standard.

The location worked really well, though it took us about 15 minutes to walk to Centraal Station. Breakfast had a good range of food. The rooms are small and feel more like budget tourist accommodation, but the bathroom was a better standard and the beds were okay. Service felt focused on getting the job done quickly rather than giving good service.
