The canal view is beautiful, and the apartment is exceptionally comfortable, with a great bathroom, big windows and a very comfortable bed. The host was exceptional too. Shops, eateries, coffee shops and tourist attractions are all close by. A special place, especially if you like strolling along Amsterdam’s canals.

We booked two nights during our Amsterdam stay, but the arrival was poorly organized from the start. The host contacted us twice to arrange a 3:00 PM arrival so he could meet us and unlock the door. We were there on time, but it was locked. He said he’d arrive in “a few minutes,” then we waited half an hour. When he finally came, he showed us the room and asked for full payment immediately. We wanted to pay by card; he said he had to get the machine and would be back in five minutes. More waiting. After we paid, he realized he didn’t have the room key and had to leave to get a duplicate. In total, we waited 1 hour and 20 minutes. When leaving, we messaged to ask if we could leave our luggage, but after reading it, he never replied. We left at 11:00 AM. The room was noisy, the TV didn’t work, there was no housekeeping and no bath mat. I don’t recommend it.
