Berg en Bos

The owners were so friendly, and the hotel information was really helpful. It’s also an easy walk to the centre. We had a comfortable bed and a room that wasn’t too cramped, though a few things could be better. There weren’t any sockets near the bed for charging a phone. The windows look dated and could use some renovation. In the small, awkward bathroom, we both hit our heads on the towel rack. Water got past the shower curtain and had nowhere to drain, and the toilet was old-fashioned and wasteful.

The staff were very friendly and accommodating, but I’d describe this as a Bed and Breakfast rather than a hotel. The rooms were tiny and dated, with just one mirror above the bed. There was no AC, only a little fan that was very loud. Breakfast was small too, basically bread and yogurt.

The renovations have made the place look so nice. I always enjoy coming back, and the owner is super sweet.

The atmosphere was good, though the room was small and had no air conditioning. There wasn’t any soap or hand wash.
