De vijgenhof

The apartment was comfortable and quiet, even though it sits right at the edge of the city center. We stayed one night in late August 2023 and liked being able to prepare and eat both dinner and breakfast in the separate living room, bedroom, and small, well-equipped kitchen. Rosanne, the manager, was kind and quick to respond to calls and messages. There were a few mosquitoes, which was annoying but not a major problem, and none of us got bitten. Rosanne hadn't known about them, but said she would look into it. She thought they might be connected to the figs ripening in the courtyard. The bedroom also doesn't get fully dark, so light-sensitive sleepers may want eyeshades. Rosanne was aware of that too and seemed to be working on a solution.
