The hotel felt bright and modern, and everything was clean. We had a comfort double room with plenty of space, a huge bed and TV, a mini fridge, and free tea and coffee. I also liked the security: you need a key card to reach your floor and open the room. The staff were really helpful and friendly during our one-night stay. The gym was the biggest disappointment for me. It had treadmills, but I couldn't find any dumbbells, which I’d expect at a hotel gym. The bar also didn’t make cocktails, though that was a smaller letdown. Still, it’s a good base for a couple of nights in town or a visit to Burgers zoo. 4/5

We’ll be back for the atmosphere and service. Porche at reception made us feel welcome right away and shared some lovely ideas for our weekend in the city. Ealanore also makes a mean cocktail. 😉 🍸 The place has a chic, modern feel, too. ❤️

My room at Bastion Hotel Arnhem was so clean and cozy, and breakfast the next morning was fresh and delicious. I was there for one night on 11/12/25, and the warm welcome started as soon as I arrived. The receptionist also helped answer my questions about getting to a place the following day. The kindness of everyone made such an impression that I booked a night at Bastion Hotel Nijmegen when I needed to stay there. A big thank you to all the staff, and especially to Rafail, the Greek receptionist, for giving me special assistance. I’d definitely stay in Arnhem again if I need to. Dankewel 🙏🏼

The location was unbelievable, and the staff were so friendly. Breakfast was good, too, and the bed had just the right amount of softness. One of the best stays I’ve had in a while. I’d absolutely recommend it!

We hadn’t booked anywhere before coming to Arnhem to see the sites connected to the 1944 Market Garden operation, but the staff found us a room for the night when we walked in. They were all fantastic, friendly, and full of useful tips for our time in Arnhem. The location worked perfectly, less than a five-minute walk from the “Airborne on the Bridge” visitor centre. Our room was comfortable and clean, and breakfast was first class. Thanks so much to everyone. I’d highly recommend BASTION HOTEL ARNHEM.
