The forest setting is beautiful, and the house sits on a hill with a treehouse-like view. There are pleasant lounge and bar areas, comfortable enough beds, and woods nearby for walks. A grocery store is only a short walk away, and breakfast is included, though it’s a basic European breakfast. The facilities and surroundings are a real plus. For solo travelers, sharing with odd roommates could still make the stay unpleasant. The room lockers don’t lock at all, and you could be sharing with seven strangers. One room I had contained eight beds but only six lockers. There are also just a few badly placed outlets, with no charging socket, shelf, or pouch by each bed for your phone.

Such a lovely setting, with helpful staff and a simple room that’s been thoughtfully laid out. It was great value, and I wish I’d found a similar place at every stop on my journey.

Really lovely hostel, super clean rooms, and a cute little forest around it. The atmosphere was great, and the customer service was very good.

Just a short drive from the city centre, so the location is great. Staff were friendly, and breakfast was simple but filling. There’s plenty to do in the Communal room. Parking outside the gates is free, but take care with a larger car because the road is narrow.

I needed somewhere to stay late at night, and the friendly woman at reception was very willing to fit me in. I’m grateful for that. The bed was comfortable, the place was clean, and breakfast was fantastic. I especially loved the bread.
