Breakfast had lots of choice, and the meat I had for dinner was literally the best I’ve ever eaten. The price felt entirely fair for the quality, even a little low. The hotel has a quality interior and nice staff, and its customer service was top-notch. We had trouble processing payment when we first booked through a third party, but one very understanding hotel staff member sorted it out with a lightning-quick phone call. It’s definitely the nicest hotel I’ve stayed at, so if I return to Assen, I don’t see a reason to go anywhere else.

The room was spacious, clean and very comfortable, and the breakfast was one of the best I’ve had. The restaurant was excellent too. The hotel is in a nearly perfect spot in the city center, making it a great place to stay when you need to be in Assen. There’s a wonderful local market in front of the hotel on Wednesdays and Saturdays. If you need a taxi on either of those days, it will pick you up or drop you off at the end of the street, about 200 meters from the entrance.

There were a few stains in the bathroom, but everything still worked fine, so I’m giving the hotel five stars. The price was okay and breakfast was included, with a wide selection for different appetites. My room was clean and smelled fresh, the sheets were clean and ironed, and the receptionists were very friendly and spoke English.

The beds were the most comfortable I’ve slept in for a long time, and the rooms are spacious and clean. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful, while breakfast was beautifully presented and offered a wide range of options. It’s a beautiful hotel in a fantastic location. I can’t think of any negative experiences there.

Service outside wasn’t on point the evening we visited. There were only a few seats occupied, but it was still hard to get the waiter’s attention.
