Resort Mooi Bemelen

The location is great, and the bungalow is a good size for a small family. Still, we won't be back. It was disgustingly dirty: yellow marks under the bedsheets, white stains on a couch pillow, and dust-covered plants. Room doors only open through an app. Since I was coming from another country without roaming, I couldn't get into the bungalow or through the barrier to the premises. Towels cost €11 to rent for two packs, and there was no soap.

Our villa was still being maintained when we arrived with our luggage and two small children. No one explained what was happening. Instead, a staff member raised his voice and spoke aggressively to me in front of the children. I tried to complain at reception, but the same person shouted again that I “was not listening” and pointed at his ears. It was humiliating and intimidating. The receptionist put me off making a complaint, saying nothing would come of it because he was the manager. There was no alternative offered, communication was chaotic, and nobody responded to my written complaint by email. The way staff behaved was unacceptable and completely ruined the experience. I wouldn't recommend booking here.

Friendly, helpful staff and a clean, cozy hotel in a convenient location. It had all the utilities we needed. Remember to bring your own towel. We had a pleasant stay.

After a long trip, we got to our assigned cabin late at night and found another family already asleep in it. The shock and fear affected all of us, including them. This was the worst hotel experience I've had, and it felt unsafe and completely unprofessional. The resort seemed to have no control over bookings or safeguards against a mistake this humiliating and dangerous. They emailed an apology, but offered no compensation, took no accountability, and made no real effort to address the harm. I wouldn't recommend staying here. If your safety and peace of mind matter to you, keep well away.
