Huize Mare

The location at Huize Mare is wonderful, with the beach within walking distance and the dunes all around, so it was easy to slow down and unwind. We had a clean, tastefully decorated apartment with everything we needed, and felt welcome as soon as we arrived. We rented some beautiful bikes that were comfortable and in great condition. Riding through the dunes and along the coast was a real pleasure. Huize Mare felt like a hidden gem by the sea, and we'd certainly come back. The mix of comfort, location, and those great bikes made the stay special. I'd recommend it to anyone looking for peace, nature, and quality.

Thomas, the owner, was incredibly friendly and full of useful information. His suggestions took us to some delicious restaurants. We spent a week in Apartment 3, a spacious place for two with everything we needed, including a coffee maker, Nespresso machine, toaster, oven, dishwasher, and induction cooktop. There were plenty of pots, pans, cups, plates, and cutlery. Towels, bathrobes, and bedding were supplied too. We could park right in front of the big terrace, which had seating and sun loungers. It was our first holiday in the Netherlands, but definitely won't be our last. Thank you!

We told them we're coming back next year, God willing. Huize Mare is a wonderful place for us, with a unique location close to the beach, private parking, and a beautiful apartment that's meticulously looked after. The furniture has been updated since our visit last year, including Leolux. Thomas gave us a very warm welcome, and our interactions with him were lovely.
