The area is lovely, with lots of nice walking routes, and I’d definitely recommend these apartments for a visit to Bergen/Schoorl. Our apartment was well kept and had everything needed for self-catering. The hostess was extremely friendly.

There’s a flat-screen TV, and you’ll find what you need to cook for yourself. The owner speaks Italian too, if that’s useful. We got a great welcome and the accommodation was excellent. The Hertenkamp photo shows a spot right nearby. A large forest is only a short walk away, with routes towards the dunes and the sea, 5 km from here. The residence also provides free permits for walks in some reserved parts of the dunes.

A bottle of wine was waiting on the table when we arrived, and Netty (the owner) really is one in a million. We spent a wonderful week in this amazing little studio for two. It had everything we needed, including a dishwasher. The village is cosy, the scenery is beautiful for walks and cycling, and the sea is close by. It’s very good value and highly recommended. The apartment was very tidy, with a great shower, and everything is on one level. It has a lovely family feel. The terrace is tiny, though it gives you some welcome shade when it’s hot.
