At €573 for two nights, we expected more from our stay in the Casa di Loggia apartment. It’s furnished with environmental concerns in mind, which is a good initiative, and Saturday’s dinner at the long table with all the guests was a nice meal of varied Italian dishes, each prepared with care. There was plenty of water at a reasonable price, but wine was only available by the bottle, not by the glass. We were disappointed there was nowhere to store bicycles and were asked twice to move ours. The apartment also lacked clear instructions, such as breakfast suggestions and parking details. An email had been sent beforehand, but we were away for the weekend and couldn’t read it in advance; having the information in the room would have helped. Two lamps were missing, the mattresses were hard and not really suited to a double bed, and the window wouldn’t close. For what it offered, we found the apartment overpriced.
