The food really surprised me, especially the schnitzel, which might have been the best I've had. Prices were affordable and the staff were great. It's also a lovely area for walking, cycling, and being outdoors. The rooms could use refurbishment, but the hospitality is strong. A quiet swim in the indoor pool and a soak in the jacuzzi were a nice bonus. Hopefully the sauna is available next time.

The road nearby made it pretty noisy, and during the June heat there was neither air conditioning nor even a fan. The balcony still had leaves from the previous autumn, along with dirt and spider webs. Inside, the rooms felt very old-fashioned and seemed not to have been renovated since the 60s or 70s. There was even a built-in radio and hotel photos from 40 years ago. We had a bad experience when we stayed a few years back, and really didn't like it. We'd have rather paid more and gone somewhere else.

The pool was lovely and big enough to actually swim in, and there are nice surroundings for a walk or run just out back. Our room was spacious and clean. It's a bit dated and could do with an update, but everything worked, and cleanliness matters most to me. The staff were friendly too. I'd definitely come back.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and the outside terrace and dining area were nice. We booked through VakantieVeilingen and paid to upgrade the room, but it still looked dated. The carpet photos kind of speak for themselves. The bathroom was old too, though clean, and the beds were comfortable and clean. I wasn't expecting much and only stayed one night. I won't return, since there are better places for nearly the same price.
