10/10
The people were friendly, the room was clean, and there was good food downstairs. It’s under a five-minute walk from the train station, so I’d happily stay again if there’s room. There’s no air conditioning, though, and with the window open I could hear people partying down the street until 3am one night. Just happened that once.

4/10
The food was excellent and the accommodation had a cosy feel, but I wouldn’t come back for work or for a holiday. Sharing a bathroom didn’t suit a business stay, and when I asked for an itemised receipt for my expenses, staff refused. It also wasn’t clear that breakfast cost extra. Things felt a bit chaotic, and some staff seemed poorly trained, which led to sub-standard service.

The terrace and room were lovely, and the host was nice. Breakfast was good too. Would recommend.

6/10
The staff were really friendly, and breakfast was delicious. The café is very nice too. For one night, the stay was okay, but the room felt cluttered and overly plush, with lots of dusty decorations and a shaggy rug in the bathroom. The balcony was untidy, with artificial flowers. Those steep, narrow stairs up to the room also make it a poor choice for older people.
