We had a pleasant stay in a cute area, and the rooms are spacious and bright. The staff were kind and helpful, the price was fair, and breakfast was decent. There’s a nice town nearby worth visiting, and you can cycle around the area. The mini fridges were too noisy, so we had to switch them off at night. WiFi could also use some improvement. It’s a nice campsite that also offers rooms.

The staff are easygoing and really willing to go the extra mile to make sure you have a great time. It’s a very nice place to stay, not far from the bus station. If you’re staying here, I recommend the boat taxi to Giethoorn.

I was there for work in the off-season, not for a holiday. The room on the first floor was okay, but the bypass wasn’t impressive anymore. Breakfast was included, but on the last day I found a very poor breakfast for the next morning: two slices of cheese, two slices of bacon, one slice of ham, leftover butter from the day before, a tiny juice, and yesterday’s yogurt. The dishes after breakfast were unwashed too. Very disappointing, and I can give it two stars at most.

Renting a boat here was one of the highlights of my trip to the area. I loved exploring the canals from the water, meeting new people, and seeing new sights. I haven’t had any problems so far, though I didn’t stay at the campsite, so I can’t speak to how it is.
