My room was spacious and elegant, with lovely décor, an adjustable rain shower and tropical touches. The bed was super comfortable, too. The hotel has a bar, dinner at Chef’s!, and breakfast for the morning after Carnival Breda, which overlapped with my work trip. The team even surprised me with themed amenities in the room, a fun touch that anticipated what guests might enjoy. The building is newly renovated and less than a two-minute walk from Breda station. Everyone was incredibly friendly and welcoming. Thanks for the great service, I’ll definitely be back!

It’s handy having the hotel right by the train station, and I’ve never been bothered by train noise. From there, the heart of Breda, with its shops and restaurants, is an easy walk. If you find yourself in town, this is a wonderful option.

Apart from check-in, the stay was good. The hotel told me its parking was full and that I should have booked a space ahead because there aren’t many. The staff member seemed to suggest that was my fault. After checking in, I looked at both the Leonardo website and book.com. Neither said parking had to be pre-booked.

The buffet breakfast was excellent, though I missed having fried eggs. The hotel parking was good, the rooms were fine, and the reception staff were very friendly and supportive. I also liked the gym, and they brought an iron and ironing board when I asked. Housekeeping could be better. The cleaning felt superficial: there were lipstick marks on the cups and hair in the room. The coffee maker can heat water for tea, but a separate kettle would be preferable.

I got stuck in Breda for a night because no trains were running to my city, just NS being NS. The room was great, with all the amenities I needed, and the interiors in both the room and lobby are modern. The location was convenient, and the staff were very professional.
