Boutique B&B Oud Aa

The room was tidy, clean, and nicely decorated, and our host gave us a warm welcome. We stayed two nights for a family wedding at this lovely renovated B&B in the countryside. Breakfast was well prepared, with the option to eat in the shared area or out on the terrace when the weather’s good. I’d happily come back when I’m in the area and recommend it.

We had a relaxed weekend at this lovely place among green fields and farms. The hosts told us the building used to be a farm. Our room was stylish and had everything we needed, including a huge painting by a Dutch artist. The hosts were welcoming, and breakfast was delicious.

Breakfast was a real highlight. It was laid out on the table each morning, with fruit and berries, homemade bread and jam, eggs from a neighbor’s chickens, and cheese from a nearby farm. The owners greeted us on arrival and went out of their way to help. They suggested places to eat and where to order takeaway, and always seemed glad to make our stay easier. It felt personal, a long way from a commercial hotel chain. They even suggested we eat our takeaway in the cozy breakfast room, where we sat around the table. The renovated old farmhouse is beautiful, and our room was cozy and modern. The building, the surrounding area, the hosts, and the breakfast were all outstanding. It was one of our best hotel stays, and we’ll definitely return to B&B Oud Aa the next time we’re in the Netherlands.

Such a great B&B. The room was clean and comfortable, breakfast was wonderful, and Mart is really thoughtful and nice.
