The place looks great and there's plenty of parking. The menu is plant-based by default, with meat or fish available for a lovely extra charge that's donated, which I really appreciate. Service can be very hit or miss, though. A few times we were left waiting while staff walked past, and eventually left without anyone asking what we wanted. Once someone does take notice, the staff can be really friendly.

We stayed at Postillion Utrecht Bunnik for five nights in June 2020 and had a nice room and comfortable bed, so we booked again through Social Deal. This time the room, number 203, was tiny, with two very small beds that were hard to turn over in. The bathroom was awkward to use, the soap holder and shower soap knob were broken, and the sink stopper was missing. There was a charging spot on only one side of the bed, the other side just had a stool. We were exhausted when we arrived around 1:14 at night, after calling two days earlier to say we'd check in late and being told it was no problem, so we stayed. The room for two cost €115 through Social Deal, and we also had to pay €7,26 in taxes before checking in. Breakfast was included, but it was very basic: the sausages were undercooked and the bread was cold. The whole experience was extremely bad, so I don't think we'll book through Social Deal again.

The lunch was very good, and they served good coffee with both sweet and salty snacks. I can't comment on the rooms, but the conference facilities were very good.

My flight landed at 530, but between the world's worst airport and the kitchen closing at 9, I'm now going without dinner. A 9pm kitchen close is ridiculous for this kind of hotel.
