Bungalow Sunny, lekker uitwaaien op het strand!

We’ve already booked for 2026 after staying here for the second year in a row. It’s a cozy little oasis where you can really unwind. Everything was perfect.

We first noticed the house during our 2023 holiday and booked it on the spot. We needed three bedrooms so my mother-in-law could come along with our daughter and dog to North Holland, and we weren’t disappointed. Dutch houses can be a bit smaller than what we’re used to in Germany, but they’re cozier, and this one has everything you need. It’s charmingly furnished and perfectly adequate. The rooms were clean and tidy, and the beds were already made, even though the description said otherwise. After 27 years of living in Holland, that was a nice surprise. It would be better if the windows opened for ventilation, but that’s only a small drawback 😉 The beach, city center, and Albert Heijn are all nearby, and Alkmaar, Egmond, and Bergen are easy to get to. We love North Holland and have been coming for years. Now we’ve picked Challantsoog as our dream destination, so I think we’ll be back. We visited in winter and the house was comfortably warm. It was clean and well equipped, and the weather was good enough for us to enjoy the terrace too. We’d book it again.

We’ve rented Sunny for my parents twice now and can highly recommend it. Like its sister house, Happy, it’s cozy, tastefully furnished, fully equipped, clean, and in excellent condition. There are three bedrooms for families and a lovely large bathroom. It’s a good location, close to the town center and within walking distance of the beach. The hosts are friendly and professional. We’d rent it again for sure!
