There’s plenty here for a holiday, with good food to buy, a bar, and a playground. It’s a lovely place surrounded by nature. You can’t swim in the water all year, but swimming is possible in summer. The highway is nearby, though you hardly notice it. I’ll always recognize and remember the place. It was good, a good place.
The Wi-Fi didn’t work at all, and the accommodation was dirty when we arrived. Dust and crumbs on the floors, a bathroom that didn’t feel fresh, and marks left in the kitchen by previous guests. We ended up cleaning instead of starting our holiday. For what we paid, we expected somewhere clean and welcoming. Instead it felt neglected, and it was hard to relax after that first impression. Our stay at EuroParcs was a real letdown, and sadly I can’t recommend it.
The main problem was the lack of security and the way reception operated. On three nights, loud parties went on until the early hours, and there was nobody on site to contact. Reception and the restaurant were open only for short periods, so there wasn’t much to do in the evenings. Still, it’s a nice family base for seeing other places in Holland. The park itself is beautiful and quiet, with a nice sandy beach, and our house was very good standard. Cleanliness was good too.

We needed somewhere to stay for the six weeks while waiting for our new home to be ready, and the park worked for that. The ladies on staff were nice. It wasn’t the best stay by the standards we’re used to, and after a mouse got into the place, I reported it but not much was done. For a short stay, though, it’s fine. We were there during winter break.
