We stopped here on our way to Assen and got a warm welcome. The building has amazing history, the rooms are beautiful, and the location is ideal. Breakfast was great, and it was actually served to us, which is rare these days. Thanks for looking after us, Rene. We’ll definitely return.

This former convent is an interesting hotel, and our room was large with its own bathroom. But the breakfast was just average, so I don't understand the high praise for it. Room cleaning was very careless: during our week there, the sheets were never changed, and the bins still had rubbish from previous guests when we checked in. The cost-cutting also shows in the temperature, kept at 17-18 degrees Celsius, so I woke up cold at night. Fine for a night or two, but I wouldn't choose it for a longer stay.

We spent two days cycling nearby, and the Klooster was a perfect base. The historic, authentic building is beautiful, the room and bathroom are spacious, and the hosts were exceptionally welcoming. Breakfast was delicious too. We hope to come back.

We stayed here over Christmas with family to celebrate Grandma's 80th birthday. The dining room and living room/kitchen were especially roomy, and the bedrooms were excellent. The garden jacuzzi was lovely, and the authentic decor gives the place a special feel. We also really appreciated the super-fast dishwasher. What a beautiful place for a group, highly recommended!

René was such a friendly, thoughtful, and attentive host. The room suited me perfectly, and breakfast was generous and delicious, served in a room with stained-glass windows. The cloister is very well appointed and has a strong religious atmosphere. It’s a beautiful place in the lovely town of Dalfsen. Thanks again, René 🙏
