I had my caravan and four dogs with me. This isn't the spot if you want luxury, but the showers, toilets and washing area are basic and clean. The people are friendly, the location's great, and I'd gladly return.

The location is genuinely great, close to the beach and the lighthouse. The sanitary facilities are basic, though the shower is warm and pleasant. Elsewhere, the farmyard and grounds are a huge mess. It feels like faded glory, as if the previous owners did all sorts of things with the place and the current owners inherited it. Right now, only the camping pitches are mowed and tidy. Rubbish is scattered around, including old mattresses and a broken fridge. The holiday cottages also seem to have been in much better shape in the past.

We booked one of the apartments for our holiday again, so I can't comment on the campsite, though at first glance it seems decent. The beach is incredibly close, and the farm makes a perfect base for exploring the island. It's a family-run dairy farm with its own cheese dairy and chickens, run with real passion. You can feel at home here at the foot of the lighthouse. Thanks, we'd be happy to come back.

A peaceful campsite in a beautiful location, with generous pitches for tents and caravans and plenty of space for children to play. The renovated sanitary facilities aren't listed on the website, but they're basic, clean and functional. The owners are friendly and helpful. You can get close to farm life and look out towards the dunes and lighthouse. A lovely place to relax outdoors.
