De Zeedistel

I found the apartment comfortable and tastefully furnished, and it was spotless. Parking right by the door was handy. It's centrally placed in De Koog but away from the busy part, and the beach is about a 15-minute walk. The photos may give you a better idea. One thing to bear in mind: the upstairs units are hard to reach for anyone with walking difficulties. Even without a disability, I found the spiral stairs a bit tricky. Still, I'd definitely recommend it.

At Texel Zeedistel 12, the apartment was quite noisy, and the garden seating looked out over the parking lot and our own car. It wasn't a pleasant or private place to sit outside. The cottage itself was nice, with a dishwasher and combination microwave. Towels were provided as stated, but we had to use the same one for three days. It felt pricey for what we got.

We stayed in number 28, which suited two people perfectly. The leasing office worked smoothly, and everything was within walking distance. The amenities were excellent, and the place was very clean.

It was a spacious, luxurious apartment and very clean. The only issue was the heat: even with all the heaters switched off, it stayed warm and reached almost 25°C. Otherwise, everything was fine.
