Hotel Tesselhof is in a handy spot, only a few minutes from the beach and just around the corner from bicycle hire and the Texel hopper bus stops. The whole place was immaculately clean, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast had a delicious range of good quality food. I loved my stay and would come back if I visit again.

The room floor was really sandy when we arrived, and there was sand on the bedside table too. It made me wonder about the room's overall cleanliness. The bed also wasn't very comfortable, and my back hurt each night. It was two single beds pushed together rather than one large bed. On the plus side, room type D had an incredible private sauna, which was perfect after long days cycling and sightseeing. The hotel is conveniently located in de Koog near the beach, the staff are super friendly, and breakfast was included each day. We loved our stay and would come back on another trip.

I had lunch earlier today at "Restaurant in the shopping street." The friendly, helpful staff mentioned lunch guests from a nearby hotel, though I didn't know what they meant at the time. When I paid, I noticed the charge had gone to "Hotel Tesselhof." Maybe I'll try staying there on my next visit.

We stayed for several days and had a great time. The rooms were comfortable, and the staff were friendly. It's close to the beach, shops, restaurants, and pretty much everything we needed.

The food was delicious, but the customer service was our favorite part. The young guy at reception and the sweet lady at the restaurant with medium short hair were especially lovely. We had a very nice room with a terrace in the center of De Koog. I truly recommend it!
