The room was in its own building, clean and roomy enough for two, with a lovely garden view. We slept comfortably in the bed with its soft pillows and blanket, and the limited amenities were fine since we had brought our own. Getting checked in was easy, and the reception staff were kind enough to give us a forest map. We only stayed one night, but it made for a lovely weekend away. The hotel sits right by the forest, so a walk in nature starts as soon as you step outside. The walls are the weak point: noise from upstairs, outdoors, and neighboring rooms came through, making it hard to sleep deeply.

The room felt cozy, and we had a lovely view of the forest from the window. I also really enjoyed walking through the large woods and spotting birds and insects. The mansion is beautiful and surrounded by peace and nature, which made for a lovely evening. Breakfast could have been better. The place was busy and a bit messy, with one woman handling both the kitchen and dining room. It would also be nice to have vegan milk for guests with special diets. Still, I enjoyed the stay a lot and would come back.

We had a delicious lunch at the restaurant on the estate, and the staff were so friendly. They helped us choose a walking route that suited us. The location worked perfectly for a quiet weekend: Veluwezoom National Park is easy to reach on foot or by bike, and Arnhem is only a short drive away if you want more city life. We’ll definitely return.

Breakfast was superb, and the manor house has a lovely, spacious garden around it. We stayed in a newly renovated room upstairs in the coachhouse, above the Restaurant. It had a fantastic Design Auping bed and a walk-in shower, and we slept very well. I can’t comment on dinner, though the kitchen uses organic and regional ingredients. Great value for Money.

We were here for a wedding, and the whole stay felt luxurious. The rooms had just what we needed to get changed, sleep, or take a quick rest and recharge before spending the night with friends and family. Great experience from start to finish.
