Campanile Hotel And Restaurant Delft

Campanile Hotel Delft turned out better than I expected from a three-star place. The location, cleanliness, and amenities made the stay pleasant, and the price was good value. Our room had the essentials and was comfortable and clean. I especially liked having a bathtub in the bathroom, a nice way to unwind after exploring Delft. It may not have all the extras of a higher-end hotel, but I'd recommend it as a convenient, comfortable option. We stayed in May 2018.

The rooms were quiet, and the staff were helpful and friendly. It's a clean hotel near the highway, with an on-site restaurant that serves good food. The facilities are dated but still functional. McDonald's is within walking distance, too. A reasonably priced base for a Delft visit, and I'd stay here again.

For more than 200€ for one night, the room felt very expensive. The shower had almost no pressure, and the water swung between ice cold and scalding. The breakfast buffet wasn't worth the effort, and cleaning could be better throughout. The hotel generally looks worn down. Reception was slow, with staff seeming almost asleep on the job.

Delft was a random stop on our route, and it turned out to be a really great city. We had a nice stay, with good hotel prices and convenient parking on site. They even let us leave the car for a few hours after checkout. Cycling or walking into the center was easy. Two drawbacks: the elevator wasn't working during our visit, and the whole room had only two outlets, one for the TV and one high up by the door. My phone cable couldn't reach the floor from that one, which was inconvenient.
