I really enjoyed my stay at the Grand Museum Best Western Hotel and would happily return. My room was clean, comfortable and very nice, and the staff were incredibly welcoming and made sure I had everything I needed. I’d give it five stars. Thanks, Chandrashekar.
A quiet, lovely place, quite close to the station. The room was clean and the staff were gentle with me. I’m not keen on carpet in hotel rooms, though. Still, I had a good stay.
I’ve travelled a lot and stayed in many hotels, but this is the first time I’ve ever written a review. I specifically booked a twin room and was given a king instead. Reception said the hotel was full and there was nothing they could do, but that wasn’t even the main issue. We couldn’t sleep because of bedbugs, and my son was bitten all over. I find that unacceptable.
The only real downside was the street noise. People walking by and scooters passing below our room kept it loud until about 1am. It was warm too, so we had to open the window. Even so, we had a very pleasant stay and would come back. For parking, the Prinsenhof garage is cheaper and roomier than the Phoenix garage. The hotel feels fancy for what we paid. The buildings are old, with separate entrances, so our room was about 100 metres down a side street after turning left outside reception. That worked fine. Inside, it was spacious, modern and nicely decorated, with Victorian furniture done really well. The bathroom was new and modern, with a clean shower and his-and-hers basins. There was a TV, Nespresso machine, kettle, tea and two mugs, plus a safe, but no fridge. The woman at reception was friendly and helpful, and gave us a map of delft. Check-in was straightforward, with a key card at reception.
We’ll book again. The room was spacious and had a bath and shower, coffee maker, and a good-sized TV. Staff were very friendly, especially Cecile at the front desk, who helped us a lot. Breakfast was great too. The hotel’s location is great, with a parking garage less than a five-minute walk away.
