The staff were the warmest and friendliest people I’ve been welcomed by. This hotel is a hidden gem in Den Helder, and I’d highly recommend it. They let me use the facilities four hours before check-in and kept me supplied with tea while I waited for my room.

The hotel is clean and lovely, with friendly staff, and the location is great for visiting Texel or walking around the area. Breakfast is served buffet style, so I’d suggest letting guests help themselves more. It’s kind of the staff to make coffee and juice and bring them to the tables, but doing so adds work for them and takes some comfort away from guests.

I’d return here for sure. This little hotel was a lovely surprise, and though I stayed just one night, it was cozy and comfortable. The crew were really kind and attentive. My room was spacious, with warm, cozy decor. I didn’t like that the shower was only overhead, since it made washing the lower parts difficult. Breakfast was delicious to me, and the bright breakfast room was comfortable too.

The ladies who run the hotel made me feel so welcome. Nothing seemed too much trouble, and their customer service deserves credit. I had a great week here. The hotel is right in the centre of Den Helder, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and a great breakfast is included. Highly recommended.

The breakfast was beautifully presented and delicious, but the care and pride the staff took in their work stood out most. Every detail felt thoughtful. We arrived soaked after getting caught in unexpected rain while cycling, and the receptionist let us check in early. This is one of the best hotel experiences I’ve had. I hope I get to stay here again someday.
