Country Camp camping de Papillon

Our Air lodge deluxe family was perfect for us, with comfy beds, working air conditioning, a hot tub, and a fully equipped kitchen. I work remotely, and the rooms above reception were ideal, almost like a coworking space, with Wi-Fi fast enough for long Zoom meetings. We had a sensational stay in beautiful surroundings. The host and restaurant teams were so friendly, especially Daniel, Kelly, Remo, Remko, and Julia. Dinner was great, and so were the breakfast croissants. When a small maintenance issue came up, help arrived within 15 minutes. We can't wait to come back soon!

The campsite was clean and well maintained, with lovely greenery all around, and we made great memories there. Camping Papillon has been a fun stay for us two years in a row. It's friendly and just right for families or anyone wanting to unwind in nature. Our daughter loved the playground, mini disco, and pool, with fun from morning to night. The staff were amazing, especially when they helped after my daughter picked up a tick. They were also thoughtful about helping visitors at this border location with language, even during the children's activities. There was a nonstop program for kids, and mine, aged 5 and 7, loved it. Great animation program, 5 stars for that. The indoor pool could use an update. It looks old and quite dirty because of the bad staining on the walls, although the depth was perfect for little ones. I wish it opened earlier than 10 o'clock. We had a little bit of a fish in the front pond and were slightly disappointed by the low water level. We went for multiple days and only caught tiny fish. LOL, that could be down to my fishing skills. The indoor kids' area was nothing special and quite dirty. Kids aren't great at taking their shoes off before entering, so sand was the main issue. A mat and shoe rack could help. I was also disappointed by the women's toilets, which were disgusting some days. I understand that people should clean up after themselves. The hand dryer does not work not. My partner said this isn't the case in the men's toilets. We enjoyed our week and would come again.

We were happy with the mobile home we rented, and the air conditioning was a big plus. The indoor children's pool and playground were full of sand, though, and could really use vacuuming more often.
