The breakfast is really generous, and the food is good. A very nice hotel, with polite, kind staff. I recommend it.

We stayed for the weekend, and the first night went fine. When we got back late Saturday afternoon, after being out for the day, our room was full of ants. We tried explaining to staff that they were coming up through holes in the building walls, but they blamed us, saying there was coke on the floor and the fridge was sticky. That wasn't true. We'd only been drinking water. They said the room had been cleaned before we arrived, but I'll attach photos showing it hadn't. They also claimed they'd never had an ant problem, which seemed odd since we found several ant traps and ant powder. On Sunday morning, my partner woke up covered in bites. On Sunday we ordered room service, waited an hour and still got nothing. When we called, they told me to pick it up myself and said €5 would be taken off the bill. It wasn't. The room itself is nice, but I wouldn't call it a 4-star experience. The reception staff's attitude, blaming us for the ants, was unacceptable. So was promising to take money off the room service bill and then not doing it when I had to collect the food myself.

The food was probably the one bright spot. Breakfast and dinner were fine, though at breakfast they ran out of items several times and took a while to replace them. We didn't deal much with the hotel staff, but the restaurant staff were friendly. We picked this hotel because so many reviews said it was quiet, and ours was not a busy March visit or a public holiday. We asked for a quiet room but got one on the first floor at the front. We heard people on the stairs beside us, talking in nearby rooms, walking overhead, entering through the lobby below, and leaving the restaurant at the front, along with traffic on the busy roads around the hotel. It didn't quiet down until 3am. People were still coming and going, talking and watching TV until then. After we finally fell asleep, someone was vacuuming outside our room at 7AM on Saturday. The room was very basic and dated. There were no power plugs or USB ports by the bed, no convenient light switch there, no fridge and no air conditioning. It was March and still very warm. The single pane windows looked as if they might fall apart. The photos make the setting look lovely, but there are roads and houses all around, with no way to walk straight into nature from the hotel. We're not coming back.

Nice location, but the rooms and breakfast were horrible. The rooms are nowhere near a 4-star standard. Please see the video for more details about our feedback. I hope management makes improvements. This is absolutely not respectful towards guests!
