The light is beautiful from morning through evening, and the view across Domburg’s rooftops is wonderful. Every room felt gorgeous, with soothing colors and a comfortable, carefully planned layout. Everything had been renovated to a high standard and was spotless. We had a fantastic stay in Domburg's seventh heaven. I could stay in that apartment forever. Love it!

The apartment itself was very nice, and this was our second January stay at Residence Wijngaerde. We were in Hermitage Wellness 4, and most things were good, but a few problems really affected the holiday. The terrace door lets in a lot of cold air at the bottom, so we had to block the gap with a towel. Also, the terrace drain was blocked and water flooded the terrace. The shower drain was clogged with hair left by previous guests, which was extremely unpleasant. We cleaned both drains ourselves. The worst issue was the noise from Brasserie 19 downstairs. For about half an hour after closing, they clean, which is understandable, but the tables and chairs scrape back and forth over the wooden floor for ages, making a racket throughout the building. Felt pads on the furniture might help. We regret it, but if nothing changes, we won’t book there again.

There’s no reception, and help is only available by phone. The apartment was nicely furnished for four and had a balcony. It’s right in the center of Domburg and not far from the beach. One double bedroom had no window, though, and the beds were very narrow. There was hardly any bathroom storage, just a small cabinet under the sink.
