Michiel was what made the week so easy and enjoyable. He went out of his way to help my digital detox succeed after work and other demands had become too much. He even made sure I had my movies on an offline drive for the evenings, and shared lots of tips for the area. He was kind and welcoming. He’s also a pro coffee man, and the room’s coffee machines are top class. I stayed in the upper apartment, which was spotless, modern, comfortable and had everything I needed. The area is beautiful too, with woods to the north, farms and castles to the south and east, and world class restaurants. I can’t recommend Michiel’s place highly enough. I’ll be back, and would recommend it to anyone hoping for a little peace and quiet.

Michiel gave me a personal welcome and communicated well beforehand. His welcome brochure had all kinds of useful tips, including a lovely 5,7 km nature walk straight from the front door. The top room has a comfortable TV and a good desk/kitchen table for working in the evening, if you want to. Thanks for the hospitality, I’ll definitely come back!

There are plenty of places to eat in town, and a supermarket just a short walk away. I stayed in the small room, which was very well equipped and scrupulously clean. The host was friendly and helpful, and happy to chat if you felt like it. The beehives were a delight without being intrusive, and the free artisanal coffee was a lovely surprise. Highly recommended.

Logies op Dreef is easy to find and well located, close to the village centre and supermarket on foot, and not far from the motorway. I had a great stay. The room was a little small, with limited space for a suitcase, but the website had described that clearly. Apart from that, it had everything I needed.

This was my third stay in the upstairs room, and it was fabulous again. The room has everything set up well, with its own kitchen nook, table and chairs. The bed had been upgraded and was perfect, and the new coffee machine with beans was a lovely surprise. The location is great, with shops, restaurants and the bus stop all within easy walking distance. Michiel is a super host and easy to reach if you need anything. I’d highly recommend staying here.
