Getting there without a car could be a little difficult, though it wasn’t a problem for me. The BnB sits among lovely farms in the countryside, and the building is part of a working farm. My room was spacious and comfortable. The owner was fantastic, making a delicious breakfast each morning and packing one for me to take along when I had an early departure. A delightful stay.

Coffee and tea were available for free, and there were plenty of sockets for charging a phone or using a laptop, which is often hard to find in hotels. The rooms were modern, clean, and pleasant inside a beautiful old building. The people were nice, and breakfast was good.

After 8 pm, this was the only place near the capital where I could find a room for under 70 euros. It was quiet and comfortable, with an amazing bed. I slept like a log, and there were real deer in the yard!

After I had properly booked rooms at her place, Annie Vlooswijk tried to raise the price without giving a reason.

A nice little B&B, with a wonderful host. The rooms were clean and breakfast was fine. I’ll come back when I’m in the area.
