The location is really practical, parking is included, and for the price the value is good. The rooms are well equipped and the bathroom worked great. But the sound insulation isn’t very good, so we often heard furniture being moved and doors shutting. I also didn’t understand the extra cleaning fee when guests have to take out the trash, strip the beds, wash the dishes, and even vacuum the apartment themselves. Checking out was hectic too. The cleaning staff had to share the one small elevator with guests heading to the parking garage, which made everything take ages and feel stressful. I’d suggest checking out around 7-8 to avoid that.

Apartment 3-02 is, in my opinion, the best in the complex. Both bedrooms have opening windows, and the curved balcony faces south and west, with two separate doors and the best views. My only gripe with the recent makeover is the pincode entry. The hallway is poorly lit, so it’s hard to see the numbers, and the keypad is tiny. The Roompot complex sits right on the boulevard in a beautiful spot, with amazing North Sea views and the beach just 50-100 meters away. There are a few nice restaurants around the corner where you can get a delicious breakfast. When booking, make sure you ask for a sea view. Roompot recently refurbished all the apartments and added new ones at the back, so most apartments have bedrooms without windows.

For what I paid, I expected at least a clean room and basic toiletries. The ground-floor apartment was awful: worn out, old, poorly maintained, and the bed was uncomfortable. It wasn’t very clean either. Bed linen, kitchen and bath towels, toilet paper, garbage bags, and other basics weren’t provided. They cost extra. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.
