Maris Apartments

We had a fantastic time in and around the apartment. It’s spacious, close to the beach, great for kite flying, and worked really well for our children aged 2 and 5. The living room and kitchen are roomy, and the kitchen has most of the gadgets you need for cooking. There are two baths, three showers, and four bedrooms, all with double beds. The only downside for me was the soft mattresses, given that I’m 2 meters tall and weigh 110 kg.

We were welcomed warmly and shown everything we needed. Our third-floor apartment was lovely, with a breathtaking view over the beach and Egmond from the living room and open-plan kitchen. The huge glass-fronted terrace was a pleasure from morning to night. We spent four sunny days here, and the whole place is furnished to a very high standard. A dream apartment in a dream location. We’ll definitely be back!

We stayed with 8 people and had an unforgettable vacation. The place was spotless and stylish, and that view was absolutely breathtaking. The town is about 100 meters away and the sea about 50 meters. Full marks!

The apartment is incredibly beautiful, and the view is spectacular. We spent a wonderful week at the Maris, and although we ran into a few issues, the service helped us sort them out. The switches were a nuisance: some were inside the room, so turning on the bathroom light meant walking in through the dark. In the living room, figuring out which switch controlled the outside, right, left, or dining table lights felt like a brain exercise. The bathroom between two bedrooms wasn’t ideal either, since flushing the toilet woke us at night. With our two small children, we had to block off the apartment while sleeping because it couldn’t be locked from the inside. We had to clean the windows daily to keep the sea view clear, which comes with being right by the water. We enjoyed our stay, and at half the price, we’d spend two weeks there every summer.
