We did feel comfortable in the cottage, which is furnished nicely, has plenty of equipment, and a spacious terrace. The room facing the lighthouse has a direct view of it, though the bedrooms look bigger in the photos, and the double bed is one you have to climb into. The other bedroom only has a wardrobe. The stairs are much steeper than they seemed online, the handrail was loose at the top, and they could be risky for small children. With dogs allowed, it may be best to keep them downstairs. Getting settled was a bit inconvenient. We arrived in the rain after a drive of several hours, and because the terrace entrance has no roof, wet shoes and umbrellas, including the landlady's, left a puddle in the living room and kitchen. There was no mop or dustpan at first, some dishes were dirty, and there wasn't any toilet paper. The landlady was friendly, but we had to remind her about her promises to bring a mop and a change of clothes.
