The staff are what really set this place apart. They deserve recognition for going beyond what’s expected. The room was good, and breakfast did the job. The location is lovely, surrounded by nature and close to the small town center.

The bar had very good beer, and the place was really quiet.

We had enough space for the little kids to run around, and the big common area worked well for our family weekend of 55 people. Renting the whole accommodation was perfect, with lots of separate cottages and rooms. The dishwasher and oven were useful, and the beds were lovely. We left something behind, then got an email saying where it could be sent. Great service!

Our cottage had a lovely view, and we had a very pleasant stay in beautiful surroundings. The staff were very friendly. The cottage itself was simple and spartan, with an excellent bed and a basic shower. Having the shower and toilet upstairs near the bedroom was handy, though there are stairs. The kitchenette is small and not suited to much cooking, and the cutlery and dishes were a mixed bunch. The buffet lunch in the main building was very good.

The bed was comfortable, the pillow was nice, and there was even a soft throw for your legs while watching TV. Breakfast had enough variety, with fresh orange juice on the first morning. I was warmly welcomed and shown where I’d be staying and where I could prepare a meal if I wanted. It was quiet since there weren’t many guests. The room was tidy and seemed clean. It’s not a luxury hotel, but I don’t have that at home either. I loved having a bathtub, with nice bath scents, and it filled quickly. The shower felt a bit weak, maybe because of a water-saving showerhead. There was free Wi-Fi and a smart TV with Netflix. I’ll definitely come back.
