I've never seen responses that acknowledge guests' experiences with so much empathy, especially when the ratings are low. Other starred restaurants that pride themselves on service and customer focus could learn from them. They offer sincere recognition and solutions, not just words. The whole stay felt dreamy. The hotel has the feel of a fairy-tale castle, with an elegant atmosphere and spotless surroundings. Everyone working there was remarkably polite and attentive, and the care given to every detail stood out. We had a luxurious, flawless stay and were able to fully unwind. Highly recommended.

A fantastic hotel and retreat. Everything felt perfect, from the welcome onward, and the team were prompt and kind. The wine list, including local wines, was a real highlight for me. I'll definitely be back.

The building is beautiful, and from the look of it, no expense was spared. Still, it's the people who make this feel like a superior five-star hotel. From the front door on, you're looked after, and the service was superb. The food at the meus and the early bird restaurants was excellent, with no pressure to rush. It's all about relaxing and going at your own pace. I chose the six-course tasting menu, but there were so many extras that I had to stop after five because I just couldn't eat any more. The 50-year-old dom rezos port was a rare find, and fantastic. The Maison omelette at breakfast was delicious. I don't think you can go wrong spending a night here.
