Rosa and Milton deserve a special thank you for their warm, wonderful hospitality. They really made my stay unforgettable. The rooms were spotless, and the shared spaces were clean and nicely organized. Everyone on staff was welcoming and kind. I'd happily return and recommend this place!

It feels like a hip hotel, restaurant, and social space all fitted together, and we really liked the atmosphere and hospitality. It's a great place for a solo traveller. I also liked the quality of the body wash and shampoo. The room had no fridge, which I've never encountered in any hotel room I've booked before. I also noticed what looked like cracks or mold on the ceiling.

The staff were really friendly, and the place itself is cool. I'd like to come back, but only if the rooms get cleaned properly. I hope they take the reviews seriously and sort this out. There was dust all over the room. After just one night, my laptop already had a noticeable layer on it when I packed it. It was so bad that I wondered if the carpets weren't being vacuumed and had been holding dust for months or years. The windows were barely transparent, too. The lightswitches, mirrors, and remote were stained. I only touched the desk light switch through a tissue, and the charging cube was so sticky I had to wash my hands afterward. The teapot and glasses were too dusty for me to use, and I had no idea how long they'd been sitting there without being cleaned. I didn't dare use the shower because its natural stone walls and floor make stains hard to see, so I worried it might not have been cleaned either. The bed was nice and comfortable, which is why I gave the room one star, but the rest was just unacceptable. That much dust suggests this wasn't a one-day problem. Something is going seriously wrong.

I used to know this place as "The Student House". I think I even spotted the old name on some branded items or somewhere in the building. It's now called "The Social Hub", though you can still see its roots and some of the people it caters to. My student years are long behind me, and I was there on a business trip, but I liked the extra buzz. It was quiet enough, and didn't feel like a youth hostel. I also liked knowing some people stay longer term, instead of being surrounded only by business travellers. I was still quite ill with the flu, so I put the blankets and air conditioning to the test after work, and both held up well. The location was perfect for my trip. I came by train, and the hotel was just a short walk away. Each day I went through the nearby "Silly Walks" tunnel on the way to my meetings. I'll definitely book here again.
