Limehome Eindhoven Gashouder

The surroundings were lovely, and the studio felt cozy, with a balcony. It’s close to Eindhoven Centraal, and self check-in made things easy. We only stayed one night, though, so there wasn’t much time to explore more of Eindhoven.

The apartment had everything we needed, and the balcony had a lovely view. The neighborhood was especially quiet and peaceful. A few things let it down: the cleaning didn’t seem thorough, and the walls had marks in several spots. The entrance felt a bit shady, and the elevator wasn’t working while we were there. I also found the rule against smoking even on the balcony a little unreasonable. With these issues, I’d give it 3 stars rather than 4.

The location is great, the apartment and its amenities matched what I expected from the photos, and the bed was reasonably comfortable. The main problem was getting in. The manager didn’t take several complaints from me and other guests seriously, and we ended up waiting around an hour or more for someone to open the front door. It sounds like this happens repeatedly. I gathered that sometimes pushing the door while entering the code works. The apartment also got very dusty. I understand cleaning is offered free only once every 7 days, but over our 6-night stay, dust, dirt, and crumbs built up and made the place feel uncomfortable and dirty. If cleaning isn’t provided every 3-4 days, guests should at least have basic supplies, like a broom and something to wipe the tables.

The room was pleasant, the bed was comfortable, and the view was nice, but my four weeks at Limehome had too many issues for the high price. We had no hot water for three days, and the cleaning wasn’t good enough. There were no food services either. The washing machine was shared and outside the suite, and soap kept going missing. Finding the place was difficult. The entrance felt creepy, and the lift seemed makeshift. Winter weather also made it harder to enjoy the view.
