The outdoor lounge areas and gardens were fantastic, and after exploring on the rental e-bikes, I liked winding down in the infrared sauna. We cycled to a charming historic village full of restaurants and shops. De Vijf Suites was a great base for getting a feel for the Dutch countryside in a beautiful setting, and it exceeded what we expected from our Netherlands stay. Wil greeted us with tea and a tour. Breakfast each morning was outstanding, with my gluten and dairy allergies handled better than at any other B&B I’ve visited. The spacious, comfortable rooms looked just as spectacular as the pictures online. I’d highly recommend staying here.

Wil and Ruthy were wonderful hosts, friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Breakfast was fresh, varied, and amazing. De Vijf Suites is a beautiful property in a peaceful location, with clean, luxurious rooms and all the amenities we needed. We had a fantastic stay, would recommend it, and will definitely return! We got lucky with snow during our stay, which made the wild, unusual walks nearby feel even more magical. The hosts, Wil, Ruthy, and their son, were incredibly kind, and breakfast and the optional dinner were exquisite. Suite 2 was fabulous, with a freestanding bath and a cozy fire just outside our door, shared with the other suites. De Vijf Suites was a wonderful escape from the city. After the quick two hour drive from Amsterdam, we felt blissfully relaxed as soon as we arrived. We’d recommend it for a stay with friends or family, or a romantic weekend for two. We’ll definitely return.

The rooms were spacious and cozy, and breakfast was the highlight: fresh ingredients, lovely presentation, and clearly made with care. It was a really nice stay overall. The one small downside was the very slow WLAN and internet connection.

De Vijf Suites had a lovely homey feel, with a touch of luxury. The village is charming, and the house is beautifully decorated, with some nice spots to sit and relax. Breakfast was wonderful and adjusted to what we wanted. The hosts were accommodating and kind. Highly recommended!
