We thought the house was absolutely fantastic. It's a lovely holiday home in the historic center of Enkhuizen, and we spent four nights there with 10 adults. Although it's listed for 10 people, it felt a little cramped. Free parking is at the train station, about a 10-minute walk away.

It's a beautiful house with cozy decor, but the broken hot tub was disappointing, and there's no separate toilet. The sauna doesn't get hot and isn't good. Its on/off buttons are on the heater, so you burn your hands trying to switch it off. I also couldn't get a wink of sleep because it was so noisy, with a pub next to the bedrooms.

What a beautiful, cozy, atmospheric house. The daughter-in-law gave us a warm welcome, and the fireplace was already lit. I missed having mirrors in the bedrooms, and the beds sloped. Apart from that, it was absolutely great.

The house feels great inside, and it’s beautifully decorated. It’s also right by the harbor, with restaurants and bars close by. Only gripe: the knives could use sharpening.
