The cats and chickens wandering around were lovely, and the hosts made us feel welcome, nothing seemed like too much trouble. We especially enjoyed waking up to gorgeous sunrises while staying warm indoors with the floor heating. Such a picture-perfect place. We had a great stay and would definitely recommend it.

The double sauna was the best part, especially after one of the many walks nearby. The Senior cottage at De Rozenkamp was spotless and very roomy for one person, with space for up to five. There’s a bedroom in the wooden house, plus a mezzanine with another double bed. It sits in the middle of a large field, with the owners’ home in the center and the two guesthouses behind it. Even with the owners nearby, we had plenty of privacy thanks to our own entrance and fenced garden. They were quick to respond on WhatsApp and even offered us a late checkout, which made the stay more relaxing. Epe center is about a 10-minute drive away, and there are lots of walks close by. I’d happily come back.

The Junior had everything I needed for a solo stay, and I slept really well. It was quiet and private despite being right beside the owners’ house. I was there for a day at the nearby Veluwse Bron. Nicoline was kind and helpful, sharing tips over WhatsApp, and her husband even offered me a lift to the bus stop since public transport is trickier here. I’d definitely return.
